2010

AZSB signed a Construction Agreement with Putrajaya Holdings to build the waterfront commercial development at Lot 8C1, Precinct 8, Putrajaya. (Value: RM60M)

Executive Vice Chairman of AZRB, Dato’ Sri Haji Wan Zaki Bin Haji Wan Muda, received the Construction Cluster Award (Infrastructure) in Bumiputera Entrepreneur Award 2010.

2012

Group Managing Director of AZRB, Dato’ Wan Zakariah Bin Haji Wan Muda, received the CEO of the Year Award in the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2011.

AZSB received the Special Mention Award under the Environmental Best Practices Award in the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award 2011.

AZSB secured a contract from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (”MRT Corp”) to construct and complete the 5.24km Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Plaza Phoenix to Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. (Value: RM764.9M)

PenMedic signed a Facilities Management Services Agreement for IIUM Teaching Hospital with Advance Pact Sdn Bhd.

AZSB secured a contract from MRT Corp to build the KVMRT elevated stations at Taman Suntex, Taman Cuepacs and Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. (Value: RM174.6M)

AZRB secured a contract from Permodalan Nasional Berhad (”PNB”) to build a 50-storey hotel tower on the site of the podium of the old MAS building in Jalan Sultan Ismail. (Value: RM673M)

2014

AZRB, through a JV with Salcon Bhd and MMC Corp Bhd, secured a contract to build the first phase of Langat 2 water treatment plant and water reticulation system. (Value: RM993.8M)

AZRB secured a contract from Putrajaya Resources Sdn Bhd to build two (2) blocks of office buildings, retail spaces and external works at Precint 1,

Putrajaya. (Value: RM185.14M)

AZRB received the Best Project Award (Building Project - Medium) in the MCIEA 2013 for the completion of Menara AZRB.

2016

AZ Land & Properties Sdn Bhd signed the Development Rights Agreement with Kwasa Land Sdn for Plot R3-4 @ Kwasa Damansara.

PENMEDIC secured a contract from IIUM to supply additional equipment for IIUM teaching hospital in Kuantan, Pahang (Value: RM129M)

AZSB secured a contract from MRT Corp to construct and complete the 4.5km Sg. Buloh -Serdang-Putrajaya ("SPP") Line viaduct guideway from Persiaran Dagang to Jinjang (Value: RM1.44B)

AZRB secured a contract from the Public Work Department to build a bridge across Sungai Kuantan connecting Kuantan to Bandar Tanjung Lumpur, Pahang. (Value: RM152.3M)

2018

AZRB secured a contract from KLCC Projeks Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of Block 11 & Block 12 of Academic Buildings for Faculty of Geosciences & Petroleum Engineering and TNB 33KV Substation at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul Ridzuan (Package 3B3)

AZRB secured a contract from Perbadanan Kg Baru Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of pedestrian bridge from Jalan Saloma to Lorong Raja Muda Musa 3, Kampong Bharu across Sungai Klang/AKLEH

AZRB received the Best Under Billion Awards 2018 (Best Sustainability Reporting) from Focus Malaysia

2011

Peninsular Medical Sdn Bhd (”PENMEDIC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AZRB, signed a Concession Agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education (”MoHE”) and International Islamic University of Malaysia (”IIUM”) to design, build, lease, maintain and transfer of the IIUM Teaching Hospital in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang. (Value: RM413M)

2013

EKVE Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AZRB signed the Concession Agreement with the Malaysian Government for the design, construction, completion, operation, management and maintenance of the 35.5km East Klang Valley Expressway (”EKVE”) and the Karak Expressway. (Value: RM1.55B)

Inter-Century Sdn Bhd (”ICSB”), a subsidiary of AZRB, signed a new Throughput Agreement with Petronas Dagangan Bhd (”PDB”), to supply marine fuel products and lubricants at Kemaman Supply Base, Terengganu.

Menara AZRB was selected as a Gold Winner in the PAM Award 2013 for the Commercial – High Rise Office Category. The building was a testament to a well-executed served and servant space planning strategy to achieve a desirable workplace.

The Group secured a contract from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (”UTM”) to build students accommodation complex at UTM.

AZRB entered into a joint venture (”JV”) agreement with Malaysian Harvest Sdn Bhd and Primary Horizon Sdn Bhd to set up a joint-venture company, Peninsular IFM Sdn Bhd. The JV company provides integrated facilities management services for buildings or facilities or certain projects undertaken by the JV parties.

AZSB secured a contract from Perbadanan Perwira

Malaysia (”PPHM”) to build the Royal Malaysian Police Air Wing Unit base in Shah Alam, Selangor. (Value: RM162.96M)

2015

Astral Far East Sdn Bhd (“AFE”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICSB, signed the sub-lease and

throughput agreement with Tok Bali Sdn Bhd (“TBSB”) for the fuel and potable water bunkering facilities at Tok Bali Supply Base in Kelantan.

AZRB secured a contract from East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) to construct KPC Port Link Road in Kuantan Port City, Pahang. (Value: RM113.26M)

AZRB received the Commendation Award (Commercial High Rise Category) for Kompleks Kerja Raya 2 Office Tower in the PAM Awards 2015.

2017

TB Supply Base Sdn Bhd (TBSB), a subsidiary of AZRB signed a two - year service contract with Carigali HESS Operating Co. Sdn Bhd for the provision of crew boat activity and other support services.

AZSB secured a RM221.9 million contract from BBCC Development Sdn Bhd to undertake substructure works under Package B2 (for Parcel 4 and 5) for a mixed development
project in Jalan Pudu.

AZSB was awarded Builder of the Year Award, Green Construction Award (for Menara Kerja Raya) and The Best Project Award: Major
Project >RM100 million (for Menara Kerja Raya) by the The Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards (“MCIEA”) 2017.

AZRB secured a RM288.5 million contract from MRT Corp to construct three elevated stations and associated works for the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya mass rapid transit line 2 (MRT2).

AZSB secured an RM138.4 million contract to build two academic buildings for the Faculty of Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering, as well as a Tenaga Nasional Bhd 33kv substation, at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) in Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak.

2019

AZRB secured a contract from Rantau Properties Sdn Bhd for the refurbishment and upgrading works to the existing Petronas Office Complex (Block A) and Kompleks Operasi Petronas 1 (Block B), new Annex Building (Block C), infrastructure and landscaping works on part of Lot 52271 and 52272, Mukim Kertih, Daerah Kemaman, Terengganu Darul Iman.

AZSB was awarded the 5 Star SCORE Award and AZRB received the 4 Star SCORE Award from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).

AZRB was awarded the Merit Award for Most Improved CG Disclosure 2018 from the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG).

AZRB was awarded the Best Company for IR and Best IR Website under the micro-cap company category at the 9th Investor Relations Award Ceremony 2019.
